This position is located at the Business Office at 5901 Technology Center Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.
The Scheduler works in-person at the Business Office each day.
This position requires strong customer service and communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and professional phone etiquette.
Computer skills required.
Must be able to work as a team member.
Must have excellent attendance.
Previous medical office experience is of value but not required.
The days and hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:

This position will be located at our Business Office at 5901 Technology Center Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
Responsibilities:
Answer telephone Schedule exams in a timely fashion Review the appointment, order and questionnaire tab and complete all required fields Obtain & document the location of previous films if applicable Update the patient demographic information if necessary Request demographic information, insurance cards and physician order be faxed to the facility performing the exam, by the referring physician's staff Document the person scheduling the exam or any pertinent information in the Scheduling Comment field.
Maintain at all times the confidentiality of any patient or employee medical, financial or personal information and other information, record and data to which there is access.
Explain preps for many different exams Be able to adapt to constant scheduling changes (Ex.
Where and when contrast studies can be performed, what exams need prior authorization by radiologist or technologist) Contact a technologist if a patient is being added on or removed from the schedule.
Maintain a professional manner at all times Perform other duties as assigned Job Type:
